You will find a lot of useful information on how to unlock the characters, to refill you health, to choose the right stragedy and many other things. Use the following cheat codes and hints to show that you are a perfect player.
Characters: The following tips will help you to reveal some useful secrets connected with a character or to unlock it.
• Baraka. Go to the place where you can climb to the wall (in the soul tomb portal). There, you will see two paths, choose the right one and find a statue. You have to break it with your fist and then get over the gap. Make a Long Jump to cross over it and get Baraka.
• Kitana. In the evil monastery (MK2 arena level), see many pillars, find a half-broken one and jump on it, next, make a double jump to the roof to find a secret.
• Johnny Cage. Go to the right of the gate in the wu-shi academy, then jump to the house roof, turn to the right and jump again to get to the platform with a big stone.
• Scorpion. Get downstairs and to the left of the save point (in the foundry). Throw one archer at the wall to the left of the doorway. When the secret door to the room with lava opens, throw an archer there and make the double jump off the guard’s back.
• Sub-Zero. After the boat ride in the blood lake, run along the wall, make a double jump at the end and capture an icon from the back of the statue facing the big door.
• Reptile. In living forest, after the Brotherhood Of Shadow, jupm across the gap with the waterfall and get through the door. Get the statues you will find to the life and destroy their shields. One of them will help you then. You should throw the clay statue into the Stone Column (on the other side of the stream) and go back to the waterfall in the gap. You will find a reptile instead of it.
Health: Use a shrine while playing, thus, you can regain your lifebar. To do this, press R2 or Black repeatedly. You will kneel before a shrine and fill the lifebar.
Fights: See the tips below which will help you to find some characters to fight:
• Mileena. When you have swim and climb abilities, get to the first area of a living forest and search for two branches near the temple. Jump from the first branch to the second one and next jump to the temple, where you need to use the tree to climb up. Go through the area you will find there up to the purple portal. So, here you will meet Mileena.
• Ermac. When you see statues of the Mortal Combat characters inside the warriors shrine, deal with te left ninja to fight Ermac.
• Kano. Speak to Kitana who is in the cage near the save stone (find it in the area before Shao Khan’s Throne).
