As you can guess, Rise of Legends must be something that is similiar to Rise of Nations, and it is, actually, its good side. On the other hand, similiarity can lead to an immediate downfall of the game, though in the new game you will find lots of innovations such as new races and factions and new weapons, for example. National borders are very tough and close to our reality, the same thing can say about all tasks you have to perform, but thus this reality becomes close to be irksome and routine. It's an ordinary linear story where you have to gether and collect objects, build something, find resources and so on. The worse thing from the point of view of its realization, probably, is the campaign mode. Being awkward, it also awake desire to leave the game and to return to other games of that kind. I should have done it from the very beginning, I think. Though sometimes Rise of Legends seems to be interesting but just for a while, maybe it happens when it reminds us of original Rise of Nations, because the predecessor is much better. Moreover, technically, Rise of Legends lacks consistency in some points, and sound and graphics can spoil your impression completely.
