The Elder Scrolls 4 Oblivion review

We were awaiting The Elder Scrolls 4: Oblivion release for a long time. Just imagine that they started its development in 2002! Now, what to expect? First, to play this game you should devote lots of your time to it. Get ready to have more than 200 hours at your disposal! Actually, I was surprised because such a lengthy game has no obvious blunders, so the process of playing became much more pleasant for me and not irritating. Still there are some problems. Probably, one of the most disappointing problem is that the gameplay is simplified a bit. I expected that it would be more complicated to battle with anemies. Moreover, what completely spoils my impression is that the game has no multiplayer mode. Thus you always stay in offline and just have to do the things that can be easily predicted. You have not so many varied opportunities to develop your character. You complete tasks, get new weapons and spells. However, the world the developers have created for you to walk through is close to be impeccable! It is quite large and beautiful due to perfect graphics. So, it is a very good and well though-out game, despite all the blunders I've mentioned here.

Rating: 4.5/5

This game is available on: PC, Xbox 360
