You are young and full of energy, you love freedom and high speed, you are risky enough to conquer new places... and you got your skateboard! Tony Hawks: American Wasteland is a story about a young punk who wants to win fame. In this game you will be surprised with BMX, so that you will be able not only to use a skateboard, but a bike too. There are also some more innovations, for instance, it is possible to make a career, to buy equipment and to sleep. Note that no matter how hard you try, you won't break your bones or whatever, though probably you won't like how Tony will perform his tricks. Probably you also won't be satisfied with graphics. The city looks interesting (remeber, you are in Los Angeles) but after an hour of gameplaying it becomes irritating. They should have done it in a more vivid way. What is for sure, I really liked music that I was able to listen to while playing the game. Nice punk-rock is a real discovery and, by the way, it gives the best fit in this case.
